Job Summary

Our client is a one of the UKs fastest growing casual dining restaurant businesses, responsible for a collection of amazing restaurants across two different brands. They are committed to serving seasonally inspired cooking and providing great service in superbly designed restaurants, each with its own individually distinct characteristics. Their experienced teams of chefs prepare all of the dishes in the restaurants daily, using carefully sourced ingredients. They pride themselves on their food, their service and their people.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for 11 sites across the Gloucester / Bristol region
  • Managing cook offs / menu changes & updates
  • New site openings
  • Recruitment, training and development
  • Senior management interaction and change implementation
  • Turnaround underperforming sites where necessary
  • Leading and developing a team
  • Motivating your team, driving passion for great quality food
  • Stock management and rota organisation
  • Ensure excellent Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards at all times
  • Continually drive standards
  • Driving sales and build relationships with local groups, businesses identifying appropriate marketing opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

  • A high performing Operations Chef with multisite experience preferably from a branded restaurant or pub background
  • At Least 1 Years experience as a Operations / Area Chef
  • Ability to run multiple kitchens with a pro-active and positive attitude
  • Strong Leadership skills and the ability to motivate your team both in site and remotely
  • Current experience of P&L, Stock Control, Rotas, Labour, working to budgets and driving sales
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst proving consistent quality of food
  • Hands on approach when necessary
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and food Hygiene (preferably hold a Level 2 Food Safety Award)
  • Knowledge of P&L, rota and stock management
