Detail2Retail work with many different types and sizes of retailer’s across the UK. Their Buying & Merchandising staffing requirements are influenced greatly by the sector of retail they are in and size of retailer they are.

 

We work with large PLC’s and corporate organisations who have a large Head Office, Regional Support Offices and stores in every town across the UK in fashion, footwear and accessories, DIY, department stores, luxury, home furnishings, telecoms and electrical, supermarkets and convenience and value & discount sectors.

We also work with small, independent and niche retailers who can have a much smaller Head Office presence and staffing requirements, which is underpinned by a smaller store portfolio.

We work with each company to understand their vision and values and how their Buying & Merchandising team is structured. The subtle nuances of candidate fit and environment can often be as important as product and retail sector expertise. We like to understand the team dynamic and the culture within that team so that we can account for this when recommending suitable candidates. Although based in the UK and specialising in the UK retail market, the UK retail sectors are globally revered and as a result we often source candidates for Buying & Merchandising roles as far afield as Australia, New Zealand and the UAE.

Buying Roles
 

We recruit a range of Buying roles from Buying Director and Head of Buying through to entry level Assistant Buyer and Graduate positions across the full spectrum of retail sectors. Typical salaries will range from an entry level position on £18k through to an Executive Buying role with a PLC on up to £150k.

 
 

Merchandising Roles
 

We are experienced in recruiting the full range of Merchandising roles from entry level to Head of Merchandising across all UK retail sectors. We are also specialists at recruiting positions where the retailer is smaller and the Buying & Merchandising categories are amalgamated. Typical salaries will range from an entry level position on £16k through to an Executive Merchandising role with a PLC on £110k.
